RUNNING GLORY

Price Bloodstock kept the winners coming at the Chinese New Year meeting with Running Glory putting two wins On end as he made a successful upgrade into Class 3.

The four-year-old had been impressive in Class 4 with a rails run throughout at his previous start but did not have the same luxury this time, drawing wide and having to make a long searching run around the field on the home turn before holding a margin over another Price Bloodstock galloper, Copartner Ambition, in the run down to the line.

Trainer John Size said Running Glory had done a very good job to make the jump in class under the circumstances and it was testament to his good character.

“He’s a nice sort of horse – he’s a little bit small, but his heart’s in the right place. He’s a determined racehorse, as you saw today,” the champion trainer commented. “He had to make a wide run on him but the tempo of the race was good enough for him to do that and he had plenty of cover on the circle. Coming down the side, he was comfortable, and he gives you everything he’s got, which will hold him in good stead.”
